Services offered: postpartum doula care
I am thrilled to live among and serve families in the Upper Valley community as they navigate pregnancy, birth, and new parenthood. I believe in informed support for birth and postpartum and strive to build authentic relationships with my clients, allowing them to feel safe, cared for, and heard through our time together. I am trained through DONA International and am currently working toward full certification.
My work as a doula walks hand in hand with my goals to provide holistic and grounded care to families who are welcoming a new member. I currently offer full spectrum postpartum support. This support includes light housework, childcare for siblings, newborn care education and support, and breastfeeding education and support. I also offer placenta encapsulation services. I welcome families of all incomes by offering sliding scale or bartering and welcome single parents, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ families.
I would be honored to be welcomed into the fold of your life and support your transition into the postpartum period. Please feel welcome to reach out with any questions or inquiries.

Services offered: postpartum doula care, acupuncturist, herbalist, body worker
I am passionate about helping new mothers and their families adjust to parenting a newborn. As a mother of two and a healthcare practitioner of 25 years, I bring many skills to the table as a postpartum doula. I am also a licensed acupuncturist, herbalist, and bodyworker. I received my postpartum doula training at the Ayurvedic Center of Vermont and the care that I offer is grounded in the Eastern medical traditions of Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine. The rich history of these medicines offers important wisdom for new mothers, including the preparation of nourishing meals especially designed for postpartum, ancient techniques such as belly wrapping, and bodywork techniques to ensure that new mothers feel their best during this vulnerable and intense time. It is said that the first 42 days postpartum can influence the next 42 years of a woman's life, and I have seen and experienced this to be true in my life and in my work. I believe in working to shift our culture's attitudes toward motherhood and parenting. I envision a world in which mothers are valued and supported so that they can do the world's most precious work with grace and strength.
I offer free 15 minute phone consultations to see if we might be a good fit. Before your baby is born, it is a great idea to meet for a longer consultation so that we can best predict the needs of you and your family and plan for those. My website offers a great deal of information about me, my practice, and my process. Be in touch! I look forward to serving you with all the love, compassion, and commitment that I bring to all that I do.

Services offered: postpartum care, lactation stimulation and belly binding
My name is Iris Mok and I am a postpartum doula. I immigrated from Hong Kong to the US 30 years ago and I have been living with my husband and two daughters in West Lebanon since 1996. Swimming and yoga are my favorite hobbies and I adore working with children. My career began when I worked for School Administrative District #88 in Lebanon in the Beginning Preschool Program as a Paraprofessional & Chinese International Student Interpreter from 2001 to 2016.
After spending the past 10 years supporting many Chinese immigrants and Dartmouth College Chinese International students after they gave birth, I realized that postpartum support is desperately needed for new parents. After my daughters left for college and I became an empty nester, I traveled back to Hong Kong frequently to visit my relatives. While I was there, I noticed a huge demand for postpartum care and enrolled in the Postpartum Doula certification course. I decided to get certified and began my professional career as a postpartum doula. I also received my certifications in Lactation Stimulation, Herbal Healing Nutrition and Abdomen Binding, which are very beneficial for postpartum moms. After completing the certifications, I began my professional career with my first client in Los Angeles two years ago and returned to the Upper Valley in May 2020 to continue my journey as a postpartum doula.
I believe that with my wealth of knowledge, compassion, thoughtfulness, experience and care, I am able to wholeheartedly support all moms and their partners as they welcome their beautiful newborn babies into their lives.

Katrina Alden (also goes by Alden)

Services offered: prenatal planning, birth doula care, postpartum doula care, miscarriage & abortion doula care, building ceremony together (mothers blessings, grievings or placenta burial)
I am a holistic fertility and birth practitioner, trained through the Aura Institute and DONA international. I hold a degree in developmental neuroscience and an EMT certification. I am a Hatha yoga instructor, Lomi massage therapist, and Ha breathwork teacher. I bring these modalities and skills to every birthing experience, and am deeply committed to supporting the human body and holding space during this life transition.
As a doula, my mission is to help you embrace your bodily autonomy and discover practices of radical self-love that support you during birth and beyond. Together, we will develop resilience through breathing techniques, somatic coaching, meditation, and holistic education. My goal is to surround you with compassion, advocate for your choices, and create a sense of belonging through the entire birth experience.
One of my most cherished offerings is a parent’s blessing ceremony, which brings the power of intention into the birth process. From your fertility journey onward, I provide support packages designed to enhance self-love and body care. Understanding that every family is unique, I strive to use inclusive language and promote awareness around gender, race, and class, creating a welcoming space for all family variations and identities.

Kayla Brookins

Services offered: birth doula care, postpartum doula care, peer lactation counseling
My name is Kayla, and I have been studying and preparing for birth work since 2017. While I initially wanted to work with birthing people as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), after my first semester of nursing school, I knew the clinical route was not for me. I truly and deeply believe in physiologic birth: that your body knows how to birth, it was built to birth, that no one knows better than you how to birth your baby. My goal as your doula is to encourage you to listen and follow the guidance coming from within yourself and from your baby to have the most empowered birthing experience and introduction to parenthood possible. I feel deeply called to this work, and I would be honored to walk with you on your pregnancy and postpartum journeys.
I offer packages to support you through pregnancy and labor, the first month postpartum, and extended postpartum beyond the first forty days.
If you have any questions or would like to learn more, please reach out to schedule a free consultation.
